We had a wonderful stay in Fort Augustus short walk to the land around the cabin, and lovely Fort Augustus, which feels like a different world, with the canal, lock gates, pubs, restaurants, gift shops and Loch cruises. The host was always available. It was stunning and fab on the pier.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cabins at Old Pier House! The value we got for our money was exceptional - the room was clean, warm, cosy, and well-equipped, with a super comfortable bed that we even ended up ordering a duplicate mattress for our own home. The location was out of this world, with breathtaking views of Loch Ness and a private, secluded feel. The staff, particularly Osh, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home.
One small suggestion to make the morning meal even better would be to offer a wider variety of breakfast options.

The cabin had a cozy seating area with a flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The private bathroom was well-equipped with free toiletries and a hairdryer, making it convenient for our stay. We loved having a private entrance to the chalet, giving us a sense of privacy and seclusion. The washing machine in the chalet was a great addition, allowing us to clean our clothes during our stay. The stovetop in the chalet made it easy for us to prepare our own meals as vegetarians and vegans.
Personally, I found the microwave in the chalet unnecessary and didn't use it.

Gorgeous location with stunning views of the surrounding area. The cabin was well-furnished and had all the necessary amenities.- The free-roaming horses and chickens added a charming touch to the stay.
Limited shopping and dining options in the vicinity. Lack of opportunities to see the Highland coos and the horses due to the owners' absence.

The hotel had a lovely and cozy decoration, with beautiful furniture and a warm atmosphere. The common areas were easily accessible for senior people, making it comfortable to move around and enjoy the surroundings. Everything was designed with seniors in mind, allowing us to relax and feel at home during our stay.
I would suggest that the children working there could provide more information and assistance for senior guests, such as helping with luggage or offering a hand when needed.

My recent stay at the Cabins At Old Pier House was absolutely fabulous. The location and views were out of this world, and the cabin itself was clean, warm, and cozy. I loved waking up to the sight of Cloud, one of the horses on the property, grazing right outside our porch. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom had constant hot water. The hosts, Osh and Ash, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable experience.

The cabins at this beautiful farm are in a perfect location, within walking distance of the town center yet peaceful and cosy. The farm has a lovely vibe with friendly horses, chickens, and dogs all around. The cabins overlook the water on three sides and beautiful lochs on the other. The owner, Aush, was extremely kind and helpful, offering excellent recommendations and always available to answer any questions. As foreign tourists, we felt welcomed and at home.
Felt spoilt, nothing was too much trouble.
